Inscription is a new profession being added to World of Warcraft in the Wrath of the Lich King expansion. In WotLK, an Inscription guide will not only help you level up your skill faster, but will also save you a ton of World of Warcraft gold. When Wrath of the Lich King is released, there plenty of new Glyphs to for crafting class enchants for boosting spells and abilities. You will be able to create vellums, books, scrolls, and cards for you own use or to sell to other players. Inscription should be a very profitable skill to have in WotLK.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used in the new character slots to augment cooldown, damage, or mechanics of a spell.

Gylyh

Players receive 3 major and 3 minor gylyh slots, available at various levels. There figures to be a huge demand for the glyphs and could be a great source of WOW money income for many in this profession.

Vellums

Vellums are used by enchanters and hold one enchant per vellum. These can be sold to other players in the AH to make WOW gold or put in the mail. This also allows the enchanter to create enchants for his alt characters.

Darkmoon Cards

In addition to the many new other items available with inscription, you can now make cards for Darkmoon decks at various levels depending on rarity. This too should be another Wow gold mine for this profession. Books can also be created for off-hand use by inscriptionists, as they require the inscription skill to use.
