WoW Pirates' Day Event
It's a single-day holiday event occurring on September 19th. The celebration is located in Booty Bay and Stranglethorn Vale. Just go and talk to one of the pirate commoners. You can find them wearing pirate grab in all the main cities. After attiring the pirate costume you received from them, hit the way to Booty Bay and look for Dread Captain Demeza and her crew.
Share a drink with Dread Captain Demaza and you will be transformed into a pirate of your race and gender for 12 hours! The costume will persist through mounting, death, and so on. International Talk like a Pirate Day
The holiday is a parodic holiday created in 1995 by John Baur and Mark Summers, of Albany, Oregon, who proclaimed September 19 each year as the day when everyone in the world should talk like a pirate. For example, an observer of this holiday would greet friends not with "Hello," but with "Ahoy, me hearty!" The holiday, and its observance, springs from a romanticized view of the Golden Age of Piracy. The holiday is a major observance in the parody religion of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
The coming WoW Event
Brewfest Event is coming on Sunday, September 20th and runs through October 3rd. The main festivals are set up near Ironforge and Orgrimmar, and beer gardens can also be found near all the other major cities. There are various activities in which to take part all throughout the event, including Ram Racing, Seek the Saboteurs (wherein you try to hunt down the Dark Iron Dwarves once and for all), joining the Brew of the Month club, and much more.
